James Richardson (2nd son born to this name), born March 14 1703-4 Woburn; son of Capt. James Richardson and his 2nd wife Elizabeth Arnold; married Sept 24 1728, Sarah Fowle.[1]
They lived in Woburn some years, and three of their children were born there. They removed to Leominster about 1735; it was the north-west part of Lancaster til its incorporation in 1740. They lived in the north part of Leominster at the intersection of the Harvard and lunenburg roads, known as the "polley place".[2]
In Leominster, he commenced a farm on a piece of new land. He was surveyor of highways in 1745.[2]He is presumed to have died in 1748; some other sources say he died in 1761 after falling down cellar stairs breaking his neck.[2]
