I am her only granddaughter. Grandma Ethel lived in downtown Seattle, WA and my parents and I lived about 8 miles from her. Grandma owned and managed a rooming house and I would spend some weekends with her. I'd dress up in her lovely clothes, wear her perfume and fancy jewelry and feel like a grown-up.
