Robert purchased property from Thomas Rickman in Chesterfield County, Va in 1753. He and his wife Elizabeth sold the property in 1754.
Robert was appointed constable in Halifax Co. Va, in 1757 (P 2-197 ) "Robert Rickman is appointed Constable in the Room of Edward Parker who is discharged from that office and it is ordered that the sd Rickman appear at the next Court to be Qualified according to law. "
Robert died either in December 1804 or January of 1805 because Robert appeared in January Court 1805: "On motion of Robert Rickman bond for letters of administration of the Estate of Robert Rickman Senr decd in due form...." Halifax Co., Va - P 23-331, to appraise P 23-333.
According to Thomas Rickman's will, Robert had a son Robert.
