Biography

Mary Riggs was born in 1707.[1]

[2]Daniel Morris married Mary Riggs and her parents were Edward and Aphia (Stoughton) Riggs. She was born in Newark, NJ, and later lived in Millburn, NJ.

[3]"Daniel and Mary had 12 children: Sarah (born in Basking Ridge, NJ ? in 1728), Nathaniel, Joseph, Isaac, Daniel, Mary, Eunice, Elizabeth, Hanna, Philip, Samuel, Abigail.

The first information found pertaining to Daniel Morris was in the "History of Morris County, New Jersey, 1739" that was Elder Morris of Basking Ridge, Mary, his wife, were members of the Presbyterian Church & Congregation. Daniel and Mary Riggs Morris were received into the First Presbyterian Church of Morristown, Morris County, NJ., by letter in 1758."
