Biography

Elizabeth (Unknown) Cavanaugh was born in Ireland.

Elizabeth was born 1857 in Ireland. Elizabeth was married to John Cavanaugh in 1891.^[1]

The couple had two children: James J Cavanaugh Cavanaugh-258 and Mary Cavanaugh Cavanaugh-255 (who would later marry Peter Barry Barry-1267 ). In 1891 they lived in Saratoga Springs, New York. In 1897 the couple moved to and resided in Norwalk, Fairfield Connecticut. ^[2]

In 1898 Elizabeth and John became grandparents to Frank Edward Barry Sr Barry-1265 born to their daughter Mary Cavanaugh Barry and son-in-law Peter Barry. In 1910 both Mary and her brother James would become widowed and join households to help raise the children including Frank. ^[3]

It is estimated that Elizabeth passed away in 1917 at 60 years of age.
