Edward was born in 1871. He was the son of Edward Riley and Charlotte Kelly.
He married Helen Simms at Bingara in 1904.[1]
He passed away in 1953.[2] It is understood that Edward drowned himself in the Gwyder River on the 1st of May 1953. Before doing so he tied a rope around his waist so that his body could be retrieved.[3]
