John was born circa 1813. He was the son of Benjamin Riley and Elender (Eleanor?) “Nellie” Jacobs. John was the husband of Rebecca Woods with whom he had nine known children. He passed away after 1879.

I noticed that you had removed John as a son of Benjamin. Evidence for Benjamin and John being sons of Benjamin are circumstantial, but pretty good, since they all ended up in the same settlement in Brown County Ohio. Please see my ancestry page which is a public tree.

Even so - I had not added the complete family for John and Rebecca earlier, because My line is through Benjamin (Jr). It is the same person.
