Samuel Ring was born on 12 March 1694 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts as the fourth of twelve children to Eleazer Ring (1655-1749) and Mary Shaw. (1665-1730).[1] He was a descendant of Pilgrim Stephen Hopkins[2]
He married Ruth Silvester (1702-1770) on 28 January 1725 in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Samuel died on 8 May 1768 in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay at the age of 74. He was buried in the Old Burying Grounds, Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts. Ring Plot. Find A Grave: Memorial #39820465
Inscription: "In memory of Mr. Samuel Ring who deceased May ye 8th 1768, aged 74 years, 1 month, 15 days."

George Ring, Captain was born 19 May 1726 in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He married Lucretia Chipman (1727-1795) before 1748. George died on 2 January 1776 in Chebogue Point, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Grace Ring was born in 1727 and died in 1730.
Grace Ring was born in 1730. She died in 1793.
Lydia Ring was born in 1730. She died in 1768.
Mary Ring was born in 1732.
Samuel Ring was born in 1734. He died in 1747.
Elizabeth Ring was born in 1736. She died in 1792.
Francis Ring was born on 28 January 1738 in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He married Mary Weston (1748-1832). Francis died on 27 September 1820 in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Louisa Ring was born in 1740. She died in 1747.
Eliphaz Ring 1743-1764.
Eleazer Ring was born in 1744 and died in 1744.
Probate
The will of Samuel Ring of Kingston was dated 3 May 1768 and proved on 6 June 1768 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife Ruth, and his children, George Ring, Grace Bradford, wife of Samuel Bradford, Lidia Ripley, wife of William Ripley, Elizabeth Hunt, wife of Samuel Hunt, Francis Ring (executor), and Eliphaz Ring (executor).[5]
