Biography
Edith Florence Ritchie was born on 17 July 1885 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of James and Harriet (Lunt) Ritchie.[1] Her parents' residence was then at 102 Saratoga Street.
She married Chester C. Burk in Everett on 31 December 1910, the son of John and Sarah F. (Stilfin) Burk. He was aged 26 and born in East Boston.[2]
She was not enumerated in her husband's household in 1920.[3]
Edith F. (Ritchie) Burk died on 21 January 1917 at 38 Powder House Blvd, Somerville, aged 31 years, 6 months and 14 days, of pneumonia of 13 days. Her birthday was recorded as 07 July 1885 in Boston, daughter of James A., born Boston, and Harriet (Lunt) Ritchie, born Newburyport. The informant was her husband, Chester C. Burk. She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett on 23 January. [4]
Edith and Chester had one known child:
