Confess I'm tying myself in knots trying to untangle these RUFFINs.
Margaret (Ritchie-94 supposedly born abt 1600 is married to a William (Ruffin-313 supposedly born abt 1630
They have a son Robert Ritchie (Ruffin-397 given as born 1600
and a son William H (Ruffin-331 dying abt 1825 who is married to a wife born 1798.
This latter William's dth date fits the dth date of Margaret (RITCHIE)'s husband William according to the obit on FindaGrave "at the home of her son Albert G" in 1827 (which I've added to Albert G's bio - Ruffin-297.
So I'm not confident of where to start adding dates and relinking!
Anyone want to help tidy this family???
My interest? A dna match (20cMs+ for two of them) for 3 of my 2nd and 3rd cousins with a descendant of one of the William H RUFFINs.
