Hi my name first name is Anne but most people who know me call me by my second name, Breda, I never had brothers or sisters & my mum's dad was killed in the First World War, my mum was born in August 1915 & her dad was killed in September 1915, so she never knew her dad. 12 years ago I found out that he his final resting place was in the Carnoy military cemetery in France, 10 years ago, together with my husband and best friends, I visited his grave, it was a very emotional moment and as a result I have been trying to find out as much as I can about my family, starting with those living and the info they could give me of family who had died I have had some success but am struggling with finding info about my grandfather who was born in Ireland. I need help.
