Biography

Roach

Hamilton S. Roach, 88, of 413 S. Jackson died at 2:40 a.m. Saturday, April 17 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 19 at Fairmount Cemetery under the Direction of Johnson's Funeral Home. The Rev. J.G. Bunyard, lecturer of the Business Men's Bible Class, will officiate.

Roach was born Aug. 31, 1893 in Crockett County. He was a Veteran of WWI, a member of the WWI Barracks, the American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Roach was a retired floral shop owner. He married Mollie Carr in 1954 in Rising Star. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
