Agnes died in 1877. In the 1881 Census her children Agnes and Alex are living with their father's mother Isabella Purves (80) at 82 Leadside, Aberdeen[6], and their father George Purvis, Combmaker, has married again to a Helen, and is living in 19 Hardweird with a new son, George (7)[7].
