Mrs. Mattie Mae Sullivan, 85, of Mt. Olive, died Sunday, October 23, 1988 at St. Dominics Memorial Hospital in Jackson. The Jefferson Davis County native was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted October 25, 1988 at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Surber and Rev. Jerry Warren officiating. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel was in charge of arrangements with interment at Hopewell Cemetery.

Survivors include 4 sons, Will Sullivan, Mt. Olive; Frank Sullivan, Jackson; Charles Sullivan, Walnut Grove, Ms.; and Stanley Ray Sullivan, Mize; 3 daughters, Sarah Sullivan, Arlington, TX; Merle Herrington, Magee; and Fannie Butler, Magee; 2 brothers, Buford Robbins, Prentiss; and J. P. Robbins, Prentiss; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
