Biography

Alexander S. Robbins was born on August 27, 1833 in Randolph County, North Carolina. Alexander was married to Laura Ann Osborne on November 29, 1860 in Guilford County, North Carolina. Alexander enlisted in the Civil War on November 7, 1862. He served in Company B, 52 nd Infantry. Alexander and Laura was very involved in the Quaker Church. Alexander and Laura's names are mentioned many times in the Quaker Church Meetings in Guilford County, N.C. Alexander's death was on August 3, 1911 in Randolph County, N.C. His burial is at Fairfield UMC Cemetery in Jamestown, Guilford County, N.C.


There is another Alexander S. Robbins that was born in Randolph County in 1830. These are 2 different people.
