Aquilla Robbins married, 1st, Nov. 1730, Hannah, daughter of Solomon and Mary (White) Clark, who was b. 1711 and died July 8, 1782, as a result of a "fall from a shay". He married, 2nd, Mary Carr of Dedham, on Aug. 11, 1783, when he was over seventy-two years of age.[3] [4]

He was a "Malster" by trade. Held many minor town offices, selectman 1745 - 1746, selectman 1745, town clerk and assessor 1748, town clerk and selectman 1749 - 1767, teacher in Walpole schools, on many early committees.
He was on a committee that drafted instruction to the general court regarding the "Rights and Liberties" of the townpeople prior to the Revolution.
Aquilla Robbins lived on the farm on the Medfield Road (Elm St.) first occupied by his father, and later sold by Daniel Robbins to the Rev. Geo. Morey.
