Biography
CONNIE R. BROWNING Connie Roberson Browning, 96, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, in Charlotte at Sardis Oaks Nursing Home. A long time resident of Tarboro, she was a native of the Farmlife Community of Martin County. She was married in 1927, and she and her husband made their home in Tarboro where they operated Browning's Grocery Store on Main Street until 1960. Connie was the daughter of Noah Reddick and Addie Manning Roberson, originally of Martin County. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry E. Browning, and their daughter, Henri Ann.
