Robert Stetson (sometimes spelled Stutson) was born in Scituate, Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts, in 1670. His parents were Joseph Stetson and his second wife, Prudence[A][1].
He was a currier. He lived near George Moore's Pond in Scituate until 1719, when he purchased the home of his grandfather Cornet Robert Stetson and moved there with his family.[4]
Residence
Robert later sold the Cornet's old farm to his son William, and removed to Hanover.[4]
Death
He passed away in 1760, and is buried in the First Parish Cemetery, Norwell, Massachusetts. [5]
