Emma Marion Roberts was born in 1870 in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas to Benjamin Roberts and Amanda Key.

She married John Goodwin Roberts, son of John and Mary Elizabeth Roberts of Harbour Island, about 1888. They had children - among them Meredith Arlington "Redith" Roberts, Lilah Annette Roberts, Persis Melrose Roberts, Florabel Roberts, Mary Malvina Roberts, and Christopher Roberts.

Emma Marion Roberts, formerly Roberts, passed away 18 June 1955 in Marsh Harbour at 84 years of age and was buried in the Cemetery on Soldier Road, Marsh Harbour, Central Abaco, Bahamas.
