Esther or Hester Roberts was born about 1626-1628 in what is now Dover, New Hampshire, daughter of Thomas Roberts and Rebecca Hilton.

NOTE: This is very early for a New Hampshire birth; can we confirm they were in that region then?

She supposedly married in Dover, New Hampshire in 1646 to John Martin.^[1]

Hester and her husband John Martin, of New Jersey, were named in her father's will of Sep 1673.^{[citation needed]}

She died 12 Dec 1687b in Piscataway, New Jersey.^[2][3][4]

Burial: Saint James Episcopal Church Cemetery Edison, Middlesex County, New Jersey, ^[5]
