Following John Augustus's death in 1881,[6] she would immigrate to Florida, likely circa 1884.[7] On 20 Feb 1889, she married Wilbert Ernest Roberts in Key West, Florida, USA.[8] She had three known children with him:
She was listed as living with her family in Key West in the censuses of 1900,[7] 1910,[9] 1920,[10] 1930,[11] and 1935.[12] She passed away in Dade County, Florida in 1940[13] and was buried in
Woodlawn Park North Cemetery and Mausoleum in Miami, Florida.[14]
