- At the Methodist Church. Manaia, on Easter Monday, Mr C. Roberts and Miss Ivy Grace Chisnall were married by the Rev. Mr Burley, of Hawera. The bridesmaids were Miss Eva and Miss Myrtle Chisnall, sisters of the bride, Mr F. Chisnall was best man. and Mr. L. Chisnall groomsman. The bride was given away by her father, and wore an ivory silk dress tastefully trimmed; and the church was prettily decorated for the occasion. After the ceremony, about 60 guests were entertained at the residence of the bride's father and the presents included several cheques.
