Hi Roger,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Roger,

Thank you for self-certifying for the Pre-1700 badge! Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles.

It looks like the United States History Project with a sub-project of Pennsylvania would be a good fit with the tag you entered.

You can also use the Following link to add the project tag to your profile, and you'll be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.

Do you have any questions? Let me know. I'm happy to help! :-)

Have taken the YDNA offered by Ancestry.com, modified by the YDNA test from Family Tree DNA. This will be added to this site when I figure out how. My YDNA traces back to Robert Ellis B. 1650 in Penllyn Hundred Tax District, Merionethshire, Cymru. To date I have found two other males of this Roberts family in other branches of the family whose YDNA matches mine.

Welcome Roger!

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community. Once you sign the Honor Code, you may start adding profiles.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour to help new members learn their way around. The first stop is How-To #1: How to Start Climbing Our Tree. The How-To's are intended to be visited about once a week, but feel free to work through them at your own pace.

To meet other WikiTreers, check out our G2G forum, including the G2G Question of the Week.

Enjoy!

See you in the branches, Cindy

Roger, the form for volunteering is on your navigation home page. We look forward to confirming your membership!

Odd, you state that you want people to join but I have been staring at this site for 30 minutes and have yet to figure out "how to join". Is there a delay after I submit my original information and when I can start adding to the basic info?
