The 1861 UK Census results are a bit of a mixed bag. For some reason, Jephthah, Jesse and grandfather Thomas appear as a separate household, with a separate record, but without a head of household named. Father George obviously has that role, even the relationships quoted are those relevant to George. But somehow the census record has become split into two separate households that were not actually two separate households. It is only when the two records are combined that the true picture appears.
