Henry Roberts migrated from UK to Australia.

Henry Roberts was born in the fourth quarter of 1874 at Plymouth, Devon, England. His parents were Jephthah Roberts and Mary Martyn. ^[1]

Arrived in Australia, aged 7, with his parents and four siblings on the "Earl Granville" 18th April 1883, at Maryborough, Queensland. They left Plymouth, Devon on 6th January 1883. ^[2]

Henry Roberts married Ethel May Barnes on 24th December 1907 at Queensland, Australia.^[3]

Henry and Ethel Roberts had at least 4 children:

Reference Notes

Many claim Henry has the middle name Martyn, as do both his elder brothers, but none of the records indicate this. His son, however, does have the middle name Martyn.

Marriage record indicates the marriage was not registered until 1908 but the marriage took place at the end of 1907, hence the discrepancy.
