John Plecy held at his death, 8 Hen. IV. the manor of Shapwick Plecy of the King. ... also manors and lands in the counties of Hants, Surrey, and Northampton; John, his son and heir, age 20.

John Camyl of Shapwick held at his deaththe manor of Shapwick Plecy of the King as before; one carucate, and 19 a. of land in Kentlesworth; six messuages and a garden in Wimborne Minster the manor of Marys, one third of an aula, coquina, and camera called Gariotte in Kynston, and a garden, orchard, 25 a. of land, and a close called Mistenetrust there; a messuage and lands in Sudden and Rongford; also manors and lands co. Surrey, Hants, and Somerset; Robert his son and heir.
In the former editions of this work it is stated that Robert Cammyl last mentioned died without issue, and that Joan wife of John Wykes was his sister and heir; but it appears that he had a son William, who succeeded him, but left no issue. Katharine Alwyn his sister, and Thomas Kayleway son of another sister, being his coheirs. See under WEST PARLEY.
Not long after, this manor was either alienated or descended to some heir of John Cammile; for, anno incerto Hen. VIII Christian, wife of Robert Aprice, held here three messuages, and 220 a. of land, once Robert Cammel's, of the King as before; William his son and heir.
"In Playfair's Family Antiquities it is stated that Robert Ap Rhese, Apreece, or Price," possessed lands at Shapwick, co. Dorset; his son William married Elizabeth, daughter and sole heiress of Robert Latimer of Duntish."
Of this marriage Cassandra, the only daughter, married first John Roberts of Wollaston, co. Northampton, and probably brought this estate to her husband, for 11 Eliz. (c. 1569) John Roberts held at his death the manor of Shapwick, called Cammels; four messuages, six cottages, &c. 222 acres of land, 8s. Qd. rent held of the Queen, as parcel of the duchy of Lancaster, value 7l. Qs. Sd. and a tenement called Sims or Simons in Shapwick, Kaynston, and Craford, parcel of that duchy, value 13s. 4d; William his son and heir, who had livery of those lands 22 Eliz. 38 Eliz.
"William, son and heir of John Roberts, better[citation needed] held at his death the manor in Shapwick, formerly called Cammels, and the lands there, &c. before mentioned, all held of the Queen as before, value 7l. 6s. 8d. It afterwards belonged to the Huseys, Wakes, and Lord Spencer.[8]
NOTE: The John Roberts of this profile could *NOT* have died c. 1569 because Cassandra remarried to Adlard Welby of Gedney, Lincs. before then. Welby died 1568/71 and she had five children with him.
Death
John was succeeded by his daughter and heir, Jane Roberts (bur. 04 Apr 1630). She married three times;[7][5] and mentions brothers Sir William Welby, K.B. (bur. 1629 Gedney, Lincs) and John Welby in her will. The latter was an executor of her will, along with their cousin, Richard Apprice (ap Rhese, Apreece, etc).[9]
His widow Cassandra ferch William [ap Rhese], remarried to her second husband Peter Ashton, sometime before 1548.
Editor Notes
death calculated on approx. birth of wife Cassandra's next child by second husband Peter Ashton, ... b. no later than c. 1547.

Roberts-6792 and Roberts-6484 do not represent the same person because: After more review (and reading thru Robertsofwoolaston.blogspot.com), it appears that Roberts-6792 was perhaps the *son* of Roberts-6484. I'll reset this to a rejected match based on that.
