Margaret Roberts was born on 13 Nov. 1833 in Wales. ^[1][2]

She married Emerson Gilbert Griffin, son of Aron Griffin and Betsey Bates, circa 1855. ^{[1] [2]}

She and Emerson appeared on the census of 6 July 1860 at Ellison, Warren Co., Illinois.^[3] She and Emerson appeared on the census of 2 July 1870 at Blandinsville Village, Hire, McDonough Co., Illinois.^[4] She and Emerson appeared on the census of 9 June 1880 at Hire, McDonough Co., Illinois.^[5] She and Emerson lived with Alvin B. Pond and Ida Ella Griffin on 1 Feb. 1889 at Blandinsville, McDonough Co., Illinois.^[6] She appeared on the census of 15 June 1900 at Blandinsville, McDonough Co., Illinois.^[7]

Margaret died on 14 May 1914 at Blandinsville, McDonough Co., Illinois, at age 80 and was buried at Glade City Cemetery, Blandinsville, McDonough Co., Illinois.^[2] Her memorial has links to those of family members.^[8]
