BPER and two of his siblings have had their DNA tested which has enabled the Visual Phasing technique to be used to map his DNA back to his 4 grandparents. Through these tests both the maternal and paternal lines have been confirmed back to their parents Edward Roberts and Mona Murphy.[2]
