How do we know Helena was born in America?

There are at least three possible marriages within London, England for a Robert Roberts: 24 Aug 1626 to Ann Walker at St George Martyr, Southwark; 11 May 1626 to Elinor Warren at St Mary Lambeth and 6 Sept 1629 to Mary Cooks at St Martin Ludgate. I should have said, there are no primary sources for her name.....yes, there are a lot of secondary sources that have copied each other and have that name.

Unfortunately the source is an unsourced family tree at Ancestry.com

Thanks, Dr. Theodore. Unfortunately, that familysearch page is an excerpt from a user-contributed family tree, and there's no indication (other than an Ancestry.com URL for an abandoned online tree) to indicate the basis for it.

The link you gave is from Marlyn Lewis's database. When he has a good source, he includes it. You're right to question it. The source given for that entry is far from good - "Ancestry.com, Submitted by fschaming36."

This web page alleges that Helena's mother is "Louisa DeWalt." Anyone know of a reliable source for this?

Why would we merge into the high numbered profile? Merges should go into the lower numbered profile unless the name is incorrect. Merging into the higher numbered profile causes more redirects. The other profile not having content makes the merge even easier to cleanup. I will swap the ppp and NNS.
Merge is impossible into the NNS PPP higher number. The system will never allow it.

The only solution is to either change the LNAB first on the lower number, or to do a PPP swap, and then restore the project manager accounts. I already set the father link, so that it will not disconnect.

The proposed merge cannot be completed as proposed. Robberts-28 is the PPP profile, but Robberts-26 is the lower-numbered profile.

In this instance, the best solution might be to merge to the higher-numbered profile, since the numbers are so similar and the lower-numbered profile has essentially no content.

Robberts-28 and Robberts-26 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same approximate birth date / area, husbands and marriage date are matches too, children also duplicates.

Roberts-9202 and Robberts-28 appear to represent the same person because: Ellen, you can merge this away. They share the same husband, and the son Robert born 1665 is also a match. Thanks!

Roberts-90 and Robberts-28 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. We should set aka Roberts, and keep Born about 1632 in Beverwyck, Albany, NY Wife of Teuwis A. Van Deursen — married 1653 in New Amsterdam, , New York, USA Died after July 1709 in Columbia, Albany County, New York. Thanks!
