John Roberts IV is part of a Bahamian family.

John Roberts IV was likely born in 1864 in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas - a male twin born to John Roberts III and Elizabeth Lowe Roberts. His twin sister, Mary Ann Roberts, died six days after her birth.

He married Euphemia Russell, the daughter of Richardson Russell and Margaret Albury. He and Euphemia were the parents of Sarah Lillian, Lillian Isabel, Mary Alice, Spero Elizabeth, Harry, Harriet Fletcher, Susan Beatrice, and Caroline Rebecca Roberts.

Johnny Roberts died 28 February 1908 at Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas at 43 years of age.
