He married first Eoline Agnes Beccaise on 10 June 1899 in Key West in a ceremony performed by H. W. Baker, Minister M. E. Church South.[2]
He married second Ruth Lowe on 29 October 1910 in Key West, Florida, in a ceremony performed by Rev. T. H. Sistrunk, P.C.[3] The witnesses were Miss Lillie Thrift and Mrs. T. H. Sistrunk.
Benjamin died on 21 April 1936 in Key West,[4] and he is buried there in the City Cemetery.[5]
