Moses was born 5th January 1809 in the Bahamas Islands to John Roberts, Jr.[1] and Ann Bethel.[2][3][4]


Will signed 1 October 1853 by Moses Roberts and proved 29 June 1854 by Joseph Saunders, Executor[5]

"Bahama Islands

In the name of God, Amen. I
Moses Roberts of the Town of New Plymouth, Green Turtle Cay,
Abaco, planter, being of good and perfect health of body and of sound mind
and memory and considering the uncertainty of this life and the dangers and
diseases to which I am perpetually exposed do make, declare and publish this
my last will and Testament in manner and form following: .....

Fourth. I give, devise, and bequeath unto my beloved
wife, Sarah, and to my three children Cecelia, Sarah and John, all my real
and personal estate, except so much as may be required to pay my debts, share
and share alike......"

Roberts-13366 and Roberts-9545 appear to represent the same person because: This Roberts issue was worked out at the BGG-NW, but apparently was not acted upon. Moses Roberts is the Son of John Roberts Jr., not John Roberts Sr. ---Jim Kitchen---Kitchen-311
