Biography
Daughter of Thomas Robertson & Mary Polly English, Rhoda married Carey T. Tate Sr on June 11, 1813, in Missouri. They moved to Davis Co, IN in fall of 1813, back to Buchanan Co, MO., in 1841, near Sparta, to Andrew Co, in 1842 & then to Grundy Co, MO., in 1853. They had the following children:
- Mary b. 1/20/1819;
- Sarah B, 10/1820;
- Cynthia Ann b. 12/24/1823;
- Rebecca 1/11/1826;
- Enoch 10/17/1827;
- Alexander Robertson b. 8/22/1830;
- William Milton b. abt 1832;
- Rhoda Jane b. abt 1834;
- Carey McMullen b. 8/14/1836;
- Elizabeth E b.7/28/1839.
Carey & Rhoda are buried in Metcalf Cemetery, Trenton, Grundy Co, MO.
