Private Edward Robertson Sr was a prisoner of war during the American Revolution.

Edward served during the American Revolution as a Private from Maryland, under Capts Heyser, Hubley, Fister, Graybill; and Cols Hausseger, Stricker, and Weltner, as part of the Maryland Continental Line. He also provided Patriotic Service as a Prisoner of War.[1]

He obtained a pension for his service: Pension Number: S35050

As per the DAR and SAR: Spouse: Catherine Methard and Children: John; Charles; Edward Jr m. Lydia McCoy; Margaret who m. Wm Deakins; Andrew who m. Hannah Phillips; Catherine who m. Joseph Hurley.
