Daniel was born about 1880 in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland. He was the son of Peter Robertson and Elizabeth Shepherd.
In 1881 Daniel was living at 3 Whitening Row, Dunfermline with his parents and siblings. [1]
In 1901 Daniel was living at Whitening Row, Dunfermline with his parents and sister. He was a coal miner.[2]
