Maggie is at home with her parents in 1891 but by 1901 at the age of 18 she is a domestic servant with her aunt and uncle William and Hannah Mainland at 29 Main St. Kirkwall---the same place her sister Hannah lived. According to Rousay Roots Maggie did not have any children.
William and Hannah Mainland were Maggie's aunt and uncle. Hannah Mainland was Hannah Marwick (born at Corse) whose parents were Alexander Marwick and Isabella Gibson. Hannah Marwick was Jane Marwick's older sister. Jane Marwick married James Robertson.
Willliam Mainland (parents Nicol and Margaret) was born in Rousay in 1834. He was a tailor and lived at Banks. In 1881 he was still at Banks or #3 Frotoft and was still a tailor and clothier. By 1891 he has moved to Kirkwall and is still a tailor and clothier
