I, Vic Watt, believe that he is the Winfield Scott Robinette, who was born in Evansville, West Virginia, and died in Newark, Licking County, Ohio, on April 12, 1926.[1] Unfortunately, his Death Certificate does not give the names of his parents, but he did name a daughter Allice, which fits with the Moses Robinett family.

In 1850, William Hamilton, a 27 year old constable b. Virginia, lived with his wife Mary A., 25 b. Virginia. The Moses Robinett family was living with William: Moses J. Robinett, 32 b. Maryland; Jane E., 26 b. Maryland, and five Robinett children b. Virginia: Mary D., 9; John D., 8; George H., 4; Alice, 3; and Windfield S., 1.[2]
1860 US Federal Census Taylor County, Virginia
In 1860, Moses J. Robinett, 42 b. Maryland, worked at a hotel keeper. He lived with his wife Jane E., 37 b. D.C., and 6 children b. Virginia: Mary D., 18; George D., 15; Alice A., 13; W. S., 11; Sarah E., 8; and Florence, 3. Robert Wade, a 17 year old day laborer b. Virginia, and Charles Sterritt, 23 b. Maryland, a fireman for a railroad, lived with the family.[3]
