George H. "Robinett", 39 years old Allegheny, Maryland, and Mary Hanafee, 21 years old b. Doddridge, West Virginia, were married on February 25, 1884, in Salem, Harrison, West Virginia.[4] When they were married, George was living in Taylor, Doddridge County, and Mary was living in Doddridge. Death and Burial

In 1880, George H. Robinett, 35 b. Virginia, an engineer for a railroad co., lived with his wife Anna M., 28 b. Pennsylvania, and two children b. West Virginia: Ella J., 8; and John H., Robinett, 4. Niece Jennie B. Clayton, 11 b. West Virginia; sister Alice A. Rexroad, a 33 seamstress b. Virginia; and nephew Lander Rexroad, 13 b. Iowa, were all living with the family. George and Alice's father was born in Maryland, while their father was born in D.C. Both of Anna's parents were born in Pennsylvania. Note: Mary A. Hanafee, a 20 year old domestic servant b. West Virginia, is shown on the same enumeration page. She is working for the John Gilligan family.[7]
1900 US Federal Census Baltimore Ward 1, Baltimore City (Independent City), Maryland
In 1900, George H. Robinette, 55 year old b. October 1844, worked as a locomotive engineer. He lived in a house he rented at 21 East Hill Street with his wife Mary A., 37 b. August 1862; and 3 children: Mary, 5 b. November 1894; John H., 13 b. July 1886; and Alice M., 7 b. November "1882". All were born in Maryland, as were their parents. George and Mary have been married for 18 years, and Mary has had 5 children, all of whom were then living.[8]
1910 US Federal Census Baltimore Ward 22, Baltimore City (Independent City), Maryland
In 1910, George H. Robinette was 65 years old b. Maryland. He works as a rail road inspector. He lived in a home he owned at 21 Hill St. with his wife Mary A., 48 b. Ohio, and three others: daughter Alice M. Sheene, 22 b. Maryland; daughter Marnie Robinette, 15 b. Maryland; and son-in-law Wm. E. Sheene, a 26 year old salesman b. Massachusetts. Accoring to the census, this is the first marriage for both George and Mary, who have been married for 33 years. Mary has had three children, all of whom are living. Daughter Alice and her husband William have been married for one year, and Alice has not had any children.[9]
