Biography

Noah Robinson was born on April 16, 1758 at Dutchess County, New York. Noah is the son of Isaiah Robinson and Amy Chappel.

Noah marries to Mary Foote on May 27, 1777 at Danbury, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Mary Foote was born on June 19, 1751 at Danbury, Connecticut. She is the daughter of John Foote and Deborah Hoyt.

Mary dies on October 1, 1832 at Hubberton, Vermont. Noah dies on November 21, 1848 in Stowe, Vermont, United States.

1. Jeremiah Robinson born Trumansburg, New York.

2. Rachel Robinson born Trumansburg, New York.

3. John R. Robinson born 1785 born Trumansburg, New York. John died on July 4, 1860 at Stowe, Vermont.

4. Amos Robinson was born on September 20, 1787 at Trumansburg, New York. Amos dies at Trumansburg, New York on October 25, 1885. Amos married Rhoda Nixon in 1815. Rhoda was born in about 1788. Rhoda dies on April 10, 1854 at Trumansburg New York. Amos married second to Theodosia Neal (Shepherd) Fletcher.

5. Mary Robinson was born on May 28, 1789 at Dutchess County, New York. Marries to George Wixom on January 1, 1805 in Putnam County, New York. Mary dies on April 17, 1871 at Covert, Seneca County, New York.

6. Lewis Robinson.

7. Noah Robinson was born on March 3, 1802. Marries first to Calista Russell on January 1, 1824 at Stowe, Vermont. Marries second to Julia Beckme June 26, 1868 at Montpelier, Vermont. Dies on July 25, 1883 in Vermont.

Noah Robinson was a Revolutionary War Soldier. He served six months in 1775 and nine months in 1776 under Captain Nathaniel Scribner. Noah's unit was called up at the burning of Danbury and the taking of Fort Montgomery in 1777. Noah later served under Captain Noah Hoyt in 1778 and 1779 and fought in the Battle of Norwalk.

He applied for a pension on December 3, 1832.
