Biography

Lincoln was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, in 1922. He was the son of Lincoln Robinson and Hazel Fader. The family then moved to Maine, where his father was born.

Lincoln became the youngest person in the State of Maine to earn the title of Eagle Scout, receiving the award from the Governor.

At the age of 17, he married (1st) Mattie Waldron. They had one child, Peter Robinson who's last name was changed to Diamond after his parent's divorce.

As the star player on his undefeated high school football team, Lincoln received several college scholarship offers which he turned down in order to marry (2nd) Rose Marie Brochu in 1942. Lincoln and Rose Marie had two daughters before they were divorced.

In 1954 he married (3rd) Edith Holstein with whom he had a daughter and a son.

Lincoln worked as an entrepreneur dealer in heavy equipment parts and as a manufacturer of components for the shoemaking industry.

He passed away in 2001.
