Biography
Leonard was born a few days after his father was killed in the Civil War. He was baptised on 25 Jun 1643 at Rokeby, Yorkshire, England.[1] He married Deborah, daughter of Sir James Collett Kt, then one of the Sheriffs of London. They had one son, Thomas, and five daughters.[2] He was appointed Chamberlain of the City of London and knighted in 1692.
