WORK CAREER.

• Pre WW1 he worked as a Miner in Yorkshire.
• Hargreaves, Paper Industry.

Grandad worked in No 3 Mill, wages were 4.00 a week then.

• May have worked at Jackson & Steeple, cotton works, am not sure though.
• He worked at Tudor accumulators.

Tudor Accumulators was on what is now the Tudor industrial estate in Dukinfield, down past Globe Square to the left of Ashton Street as you go towards the river and Audenshaw. It manufactured Lead acid batteries. It lay alongside the Peakforest canal.

His ARMY SERVICE. Lance Corporal G.B. Robinson No 82584 P.C.2 3 Garrison Battery Cheshire Regiment Retired as a Regimental Quarter-Master Sergeant.

He was cremated, and his ashes scattered in the Rose Gardens at Dukinfield Cemetery.
