Albert Nelson Robinson Sr. was the second child and first son of Albert Nelson Robinson I, and his wife, Grace Trecca (Noon) Robinson. He was born in May 1896 in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware, where the family lived.[1]
Albert and Grace Robinson lost their third child, Allen Robinson, to cholera on August 4, 1899, when he was just 7 months old. Alas, Grace (Noon) Robinson succumbed to the disease shortly thereafter. Left a widower, Albert gave his 2 other small children [Marion Howell Robinson, b. 1893, & Albert Nelson Robinson "Sr.," b. 1896] to his older sister, Lola Robinson Whiteman, to raise (see Robinson-8623).
Three years later, in 1902, Albert N. Robinson I re-married, this time to Minnie Whiteman, Lola Robinson's husband's younger sister. His children by his first marriage, Marion Howell Robinson and Albert Nelson Robinson "Sr.", returned to their father's home in New Castle County, Delaware.
Albert Nelson Robinson Sr. left Delaware sometime in the 1920s and moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He married Virginia R. (unknown), b. 1896 before 1923. They had at least one son:
