Benjamin was born about 1821. He was the son of Thomas Robinson of Divinney 1785–1830 and Sophia Ruddell (Ruddell Todd after 1814) Mrs Robinson 1780–1866
He married Mary Tiller in South Australia in 1851 at the age of 31. [1]
Came to Victoria from SA around 1860.
Benjamin passed away in 1899 in St Arnaud, Victoria at the age of 78.[2]
Benjamin is interred in the St. Arnaud Victoria Cemetery, A 26/23 N, [3]
