Biography

Mitchell was born in 1836. He was the son of George Robinson and Mary Deaver. He passed away in 1910.

When Mitchell E Robinson, CSA, 29 Regiment, North Carolina Infantry, Company D; CSA, 2 Regiment, North Carolina Mounted, Company B was born in January 1835 in Buncombe, North Carolina, his father, George, was 27 and his mother, Mary, was 29. He married Sarah Sally Roberts Robinson in 1880 in Marshall, North Carolina. They had eight children in 10 years. He died on August 1, 1910, Washington, District of Columbia, having lived a long life of 75 years, and was buried in Walnut Creek, North Carolina.
