[1] "Ann Elizabeth Robinson, grandaughter of Henry and Ann Robinson, Tyrone Co., Ireland, owner of two estates inherited through his father Judge Robinson."
[2] The Robinson family homes were called Bellasuden and Bellanap. (Can't find a record of either place).
[3] Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson Sloan was the first resident Physician of Statesville, and in the Sloan home, Andrew Jackson mixed his medicine with the Meeting House spring water----maybe.
FERGUS SLOAN of Scotch-Irish descent and, with his wife, Ann Robinson, emigrated to America about 1747 from probably Antrim County, Ulster Ireland and settled on the site of what is now Statesville, North Carolina.
Listed as a Settler of (Fourth Creek Settlement) Rowan County by 1762
Ann Elizabeth Robinson Sloan has a marker in Statesville, NC. d. after 1779. She donated the land for the cemetery. There is some doubt about whether she is buried there.
