About the year 1738 he married Obedience Bradshaw, who was the daughter of William Bradshaw and Judith Scruggs. [2] They became the parents of at least nine children. These children were Daniel, William, Field Jr, Joseph, Temperance Fuqua, Obedience Nichols, Elizabeth Lipford, Judith Robertson, and Nancy Robinson.[3]

Field Robinson Sr died in Littleton Parish of Cumberland County Virginia between 7 March 1785 when his will was written, and 28 March 1785 when the inventory of his estate began. [4] It is unknown when or where he was buried.
