Milton Lee Robinson Birth: 27 Mar 1873 Death: 1 Jul 1959 (aged 86) Burial: Brookside Cemetery, Campbellsville, Taylor County, Kentucky, USA Memorial #: 105498685 Bio: The News-Journal, July 2, 1959M. Lee Robinson, age 86, former Taylor County Circuit Court Clerk, died Wednesday morning at 6 a.m. at the Rosary Hospital. He had been in ill health for quite some time and had been in and out of the hospital several times. Mr. Robinson served as Circuit Clerk of Taylor County for a number of years, before ill health forced his retirement. He was a member of the Elkhorn Masonic Lodge #568 and received his 50 year pin some eight years ago. He served as clerk of the lodge for a number of years. He was a member of the Elkhorn Baptist Church, where he served as Sunday School superintendent and church clerk for a number of years. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, at 10 a.m. (CDT) from the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home with burial in Brookside Cemetery, with Masonic rites. The Rev. Lillard Dunn will be in charge, assisted by Rev. J. A. McDowell. Mr. Robinson was born March 27, 1873, the son of John Milton and Sophronia Robinson. He united in marriage to Florence Newton on November 25, 1902 and to this union one son, James, was born. Survivors include his wife; his son, James, of Louisville; two grandsons, John M. Robinson, Campbellsville, and James Kenneth Robinson, Louisville; and one great-grandson.
