Margaret was James Burnett's 3rd wife. They were married 21 June 1785 by The Rev. David Bar in Pittsylvania, Virginia.
James and Margaret had 5 children: Samuel Burnett (1787 - 1809); Martha Fermin (Burnett) Reed (1786 - 1855); Sarah Burnett (1789 - ?); Henry Burnett (1790 - 1864) and Jane (Burnett) Cain (1792 - 1845)
Margaret died about 1810 or 1815 in Pittsylvania, Virginia or in Davidson, Tennessee.
