DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Robin, Thank you for your note! When I was brand new to WikiTree, I adopted this orphaned profile because it seemed to fit with what had been handed down to me as family history. I've since learned that the Dillion line here is very confused, sometimes conflated, and mostly without any documentation other than Ancestry.com trees, which all disagree with each other too! And note that her Find A Grave profile shows no headstone and says "Burial details unknown" so it is no better as a source than family trees.
Mary Robinson is not a unique name, so it is possible that this Mary Robinson is a different person from the one you referenced! I just wish we had some actual hard proof. Of anything!
Having looked at this family a bit, I think Mary's maiden name is Unknown. There is another son in this family https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dillon-569 His mother is "Mary Unknown"....interestingly , he married a Mary Robinson.
